Theresa Ohaya
Women's Coach and Advisor

Theresa is a former Regents Scholarship recipient and Cal Lutheran University graduate. Theresa is currently working as an Emergency Medical Technician. As a former intern for Single Mothers' Outreach, teacher’s assistant for Kids Like Me, and tutor for Area Housing Authority, Theresa hopes to combine her love for working with children, and her passion for patient care, by attending a medical school in the near future. Her love for mentoring kids from underprivileged communities stems not only from her work experiences, but from her upbringing as well. Theresa and her family moved to the United States from Nigeria at a young age. Having to share a room with her 5 siblings and parents at the basement of a Pennsylvania home, she understands the challenges at-risk youth face. Theresa hopes to use her journey to guide those who need it. She aims to encourage each child to strive for excellence upon helping him/her to discover and unlock their potential.

Che is talented in the art of writing and working with words. After graduating high school, she put college on hold to work with a pediatrician in the children's ward at a small hospital. She loves children, and hopes to have a career working with them every day. She does more thinking than talking, and aspires to be a beacon of inspiration to others. Alongside her day to day editing for Luminous Elite , Che strongly believes in the power of words. Therefore, she strives to teach kids creative ways to express their thoughts through writing.
